Wearing a pager is having to endure an evil in and of itself, The senators shall consider your request. Since there are only two of us, it shouldn't take long. I'm playing a goody goody game right now. Boy it sux. You gotta save the bugs, and everytime you kill a few worms to get the best pq for your citizens it bumps you down to neutral and you gotta do tons of pablem puking goody goody junk to get good again. And it doesn't help that the pukin Lizard boy Torians now think I'm God

Go ahead and show me where he made a personal attack on you. Why the hell are you attacking him anyway? Hes discussing the pros and cons of two games, not insulting your mother _________ You are mistaken. You made the allegation (offering nothing to back it up) Nevertheless, I s
Coffee, you are just the backstabbing evil scum of a "diplomat" G.R.O.S.S. is looking for. Welcome aboard!!!! I stand corrected. :))))) Actually I used to play the Populists for that reason and the morale. My first game, even playing them, I had all kinds of morale problems. But now the morale boost isn't quite as big a thing since they bumped base morale up a bit. I'm playing the industrialists right now.
All I can say now though is you really ought to look in the mirror. I made no personal attacks on you or anyone else in this thread, and what do I get? I get cursed at, and I get called a MoO fanboi, a tard, I get flamed. Well if that's your argument style so be it. Some other time try sticking to the merits of your argument rather than going after someone personally, it'll make you look like less of an a$$. I never cursed at you at all. Yet another unfounded accusation. Oh well
In truth I am disapointed with you, and Huzurdaddi, you both chose the easy way, you got personal, you attacked me (don't worry I don't care, not like I havn't been around the net enough). Any argument you could have made would have been much stronger if you kept to the point rather than attempting to start some MoO flame fest. BS. You are the one that started with the ad-hominem. attacks and the flaming. You came on, name called, made several allegations and I pr
If you read what I wrote carefully you will see that I did not call you a hater, I said that you were parroting the standard line from the haters. Now you can take that to mean I called you a parrot if you want, but I did not call you a hater. Bwahahahahhahaha.... Nice try. Let me turn it around for you hypothetically. "In General, most of the people that like Galciv are smarter than those that like Moo3. Those that argue for Moo3 generally use tard arguments." Then
I posted this: #4 by Citizen PontiusBruinPilot - 5/5/2003 10:25:54 PM I really would recommed Moo3 over Galciv right now if multiplayer is most important. But go look at Gamespy and some of the multiplayer. Moo3 people online worldwide. five. TBS is just too long and complicated unless you have a few regular dedicated friends to play with to do multiplayer. Single player is no comparison. It's all Galciv. Moo3battles are realtime but it's not like you have
Oh and ps Ubertaco: I'm a hater but not 20 posts up in this thread I said given the criteria the original poster stated he wanted, he should buy Moo. But I also suggested it might not be an either or choice since Moo can be had so cheaply (far less than the 50 bux retail) in fact, you can get em both for about that. But I'm a moo hater because I just recommended it to someone. Yup. Get a clue.
Certainly there are differentiators in GalCiv as well, and its not worth arguing over cosmetics like being able to play as a nonhuman (which is kinda irrelivant, but it matters to some). There is a fundamental difference in the approach to planets and thus colonization in MoO3 too. Not all planets are suited for all races, and some races are more tolerant than others, and thus can colonize more planets. Again that is more depth than the GalCiv model, which I have nothing against, its a game desi
Your Gross empore update: Tornado's really make it difficult to conquer these alien slugs. But here's a list of our recommended party affiliation. War Party: Highly recommended: A party worthy of us. They see the aliens for what they are. Vermin that need to be controlled to which we add via slavery and extermination. The Bonus to hitpoints makes control alot easier. Populist party: A decent pick the Morale bonus keeps em happy (though this isn't as big an iss
I would like to see them perhaps nerf terraforming down to a +10% and move it earlier in the tech tree (It should cost more than the soil conditioning and habitat improv techs). Then, add one (Perhaps +15) 2/3 of the way through. Nerf the ones at the end. They really are pretty useless at the end. In my first game, I only researched em for the points then the entire torian empire revolted over to me and I got a culture victory anyway. They ended up useless. Those end pq techs were useless
It depends on what you call depth. If on the surface there is seemingly more choices, yet, these choices seem to make not much difference on your empire in the long run, and that's your idea of depth, then yes Moo has more. Lets take races for example. Moo has tons more and you can be tons more. Yet, (and their devs even admit this) they had to nerf many of the race abilities simply because their ai couldn't play them. Result, what race you play has little effect and they all ar
ahh you mean you want a button that temporarily disables all autopilot which you could then turn back on? I would second that motion. I hate when I've got 30 on ap, then ooops war, need em in a different spot. hard to remember where exactly every ship on ap is. the disable button would be great. And have you had that glitch where the ship on ap suddenly plays ring around the rosie for a turn or two, then continues? That gets annoying. Because there is a button where you ca
I've never had anything but the default directories. And more and more of my sounds are suddenly disappearing. It's no biggie but probably is worthy of the devs attn.
Gotta keep that moral up Nastav. Or they defect. Oh I'm not looking forward to the fundamentalist event takeover nope. I think maybe the fundamentalist thing was added precisely because evil seemed an easier way to go. Dang Goody Goody Do Gooders. It's all a plot to stop the G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy alienS) empire from dominating. It will fail of course.
Rob first of all, you might just be the evil sort of scum we're looking for in the G.R.O.S.S. (Get Rid Of Slimy alienS) empire. You can join through the metaverse. Did you save the game in the middle of all that? If you save and reload, Your influence drops like a rock for the next 2 or 3 turns before it goes back up to where it was again. Second of all, the culture thing is tricky. A sector is the color of the race that has the most points. You might have just o
Oh fleabit, I suspect it's a moo fanboi off their boards, but unlike their fanboi's I'm not going to be disrespectful just because he's trolling. I answered his question the best I can. If those features are truly important, he should indeed hope that Moo's patch will fix it (because whether trolling or not, he picked features galciv doesn't have) Besides, at the cheap price it's going for, he can indeed afford both now. But personally, like I said. Unless you have a dedicated core grou
Kill those worms!!!! Your people deserve the best planet you can give them and you should not be detered by a bunch of slimy worms. I found a 26 planet and this upped it to 40. (after I soil improved and terreformed) Hope it helps. Also, if you've downloaded the upgrades, choosing the 5% pq bonus alos helps as does the luck bonus. It tends to give you bigger values for the increased pq off of killing the worms. And you don't want to let a bunch of slimy lil worms stop you? Of course not.
Slitherin. Click on the corvette, then right click on a square in range, It will auto pilot to the square. (the crew being put in stasis) It can't do anything else untill it gets back but you can get it back.

TBS is just too long and complicated unless you have a few regular dedicated friends to play with to do multiplayer. Single player is no comparison. It's all Galciv. Oh you're apolyton. G.R.O.S.S. will over power you in the end. Were you on line when you ended your game? You have to be or the submission option never comes up. What I do is when the game ends I alt-tab out before hitting done, then pop online and poof, I get the option. Make sure you're registered over there as well as here too or you can't submit. Make sure you use your nick here as your nick when you submit. If it still don't work, after all this, co
And whatever you bribe, we simple get back the next turn because we are vastly culturally superior to the United States (we go back more than 200 years) Oh sure. You've got the 500 year dead artists and composers all over us, but what have you done for us lately? The Renault LeCar!!!! Kraftwork!!!! HEHE. We've got our culture where it counts. All the low places baby. Disneyland KFC Mickey D's Levis CocaCola Nascar: Car racing where
Purefx, of course you can join. It's open. Just go to the metaverse, look up G.R.O.S.S. we're in the 40s ranking (not bad for our second day) and join our growing empire. Get Rid Of Slimy alienS!!!!
K. I better download it. It just restores the sound defaults correct? Nothin else?
Surther, you should merge with us now while you still can....The alliance appears to be right on your doorstep just waiting to gobble you up. With our "protection" however.....
