I have noticed that with AP v1.50 when the sound FX and music are turned off there is still sound effects when you are in the diplomatic screens with the AI. I did not know that there was a v1.51 until a few minutes ago. I will upgrade my game and report if this bug still exists.

I have noticed that with v1.50 when the sound FX and music are turned off there is still sound effects when you are in the diplomatic screens with the AI. I have reposted this in the galciv v1.21 and AP v1.51 thread. [Message Edited]
I have never used any MODs but I am considering using some political party mods.
No, because of your insolence, I will make it a 4 day old wormy dead cod! LOL [Message Edited]
Can you fix that?
Peace Phoenix told me that it was bug in the metaverse with someone reusing a Galciv game so I guess you guys know about it.
Ok, I edited this message because I was being excessively politically correct. Shame on me.
I am not politically correct, If I detect that you are being politically correct to me I will swat you with a 4 day old dead cod. :D
One funny thing about alliance victory is that you can have an alliance win with all AIs when they are at war with each others.
I didn't know that.
I feel that trading Techs for cash or techs is not cheese. I consider buying your way into an alliance with an AI, minor cheese. But ... the game was designed that way and I will play it that way. I feel that a player or AI should not be allowed to submit a bribe for that which he can not pay for. For example, the last turn of the game a player bribes two AIs for 100 BC for 99999 months. This is very stinky cheese. But ... the game was designed that way so ... play it t
LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL
hang on... whats that Drengin doing... why has he got drool running down his face matting up his fur.... arghhhhhhhhhh.gurgle.... help..... he's eating me......
Hehe, LOL ... nice disguise Damoose!
CariELF I want to ask a question about the metaverse. There is a player ranking 94 that has no name and no way to clik on him to find out who he is or what games he is submitting. Can you fix that?

As I understood it, the jolly roger icon is intended to remind you that you failed the first cultural resist roll and that if you fail a second time, no matter when during the game, your planet "flips".
Yes, that's correct
I would prefer that it works similar to morale. Once you get Morale fixed then that icon goes away. Once you get your culture fixed (jolly roger icon) then that icon gets reset and goes away.
What I found surprising is there is someone in position 94 that has no name. I did not think that was possible.
I've been a pawnbroker for almost a month now
Myself as well. I had the games but not the score. LOL
Admirals are in the least numbers!!
I found that to be surprising as well. It did not take too long to do, about 5 minutes.
I thought it I would do a quick check on the admiralty as it stands today. I left their position in the Metaverse rankings in as well. The Metaverse Admiralty Fleet Admiral (30) 1 Greldon 2 Technician 3 Primipilus Alexus 4 Magnumaniac 5 Naqmir 6 Jackey Jackey 7 Captain Jack Sparrow 8 JaxomCA 9 ricbayer 10 Weyrleader 11 Free Tibet 12 Moser the Alchemist <b
It is not a bug. Once it appears, it stays for quite a while, perhaps for the rest of the game.
Its a bug, there is only one way the jolly roger goes away. When a planet has a jolly roger icon and it is taken over that icon is reset. I was hoping this was fixed in AP. I find the little Icon annoying after you have fixed up the sector with more influence.
Go ahead and send them to me, along with any mods you might be using.
I sent you 2 save files that are exhibiting the problem. Hope you see the problem to solve it.
CariElf, someone suggested that perhaps my save games are corrupted and that is why I am getting a CTD. I load the game make some moves press turn and CTD. would you like the save game or have you seen this and a fix is in the works?
People from Michigan, I suggest that we write to our governor and tell her not to let other places dump their trash in our beautiful state.
If you do that where oh where will Toronto send its garbage? Toronto City hall likes to sit back and wait until the next election before they decide to make a stand on an issue.
Stardock has not published the modifiers to the final score except generally. It is safe to say that more of everything, population, morale, tech, planets, Trade goods, Galactic wonders and resources will contribute to a higher score. Things that may result in a lower score could be very low morale, game that has a really high number of turns, any victory that is not military. There is one exception to the military victory though. It is possible to get max score
the biggest score contributors are victory type and map size
VOT is correct as well. The bigger the map size the bigger the score. Depending on your type of play you can expect that the larger map sizes will take longer.
True, I can usually get some ship techs by waiting for them to come to me. Drones, Nano Electronics, Brain wave mapping are usually the ones that they request.
They have been offered a way to prove their innocence, let them use it if they wish or not as the case may be.
I agree.
When I play crippling I trade techs for cash and by doing that I can wipe out the AI's and stunt their development. I am always way ahead in all tech including ship tech. This game I dominate militarily and monetarily. When I play MASO I have to trade techs for techs and I get the AI's to like me. I find it hard to get ship techs because they do not like to trade them. I am able to keep up or even ahead of the AI in all other tech. I do trade for 3-4 Trade goods and I miss out on at
