MASO Medium/Rare/Tight - Strategy review in Strategies Stardock Forums

I have been playing v1.51 AP MASO Medium/rare/tight lately. I would like to share my tactics. I start with the research party and then load up diplo 60, influence 20, morale 15. All AI on and set to evil. My goal is to go good. I also have the Saints & Sinners pack installed. Only those 2 mods. I like to get 3 planets to start out. One of them has to be a PQ of 20. The rest can be anything 15 or over. The ideal location is the middle of the map so that the AI can be located qu

I just installed the Saints and Sinners pack. It is very good and does help me to swing from evil back to pure good almost every game. I will choose evil options at the start of the game if they give me a good advantage. With out the S&S pack I used to be happy just to get back to neutral, now I can get almost pure good.

Ok, I have done a bit more research on this issue. In this forum if I do a search on my name I can find about 10 posts that I have created. How is the search supposed to work. Should it only find topics with the search criteria in the topic or should the search find words within the actual posts? If I can't search through the posts for "strategies" or "MASO" then I feel that the search is not working as I expected.

Maybe I am doing the search wrong. I go into the Empire forum then open up the Canadian Star Empire thread and type in MASO hit GO. I get an empty search box right away. I go back into the CSF empire thread and hit show my posts ... I get and empty search box right away. I try this using even common words and get the same thing every time. For some reason the search is not working.

I use the website. I tried google and the results are interesting but still not giving me what I am looking for. I posted a couple of strategies in the CSF forum and I am trying to find them. I wanted to modify them and rerelease them.

You are no longer able to get opposite aligned techs from espionage. In fact when trading for techs I am sure that you can't see them in another AI's tech list either.

Several factors go into your problem. 1. The more diplomatic bonus you have the better. So you should never trade diplomatic techs to an AI because they will remain close diplomatically to you. Starting your empire with a higher diplo bonus is a good thing. 2. When trading with AI if you give more than you get that will increase your diplomatic status with the AI over time. CariElf when I go to the top right side of the metaverse page and use the drop down menu to select Gigantic Maps it should show Technician in first place. It appears that the top 3 people in this scoring position have not been updated for quite some time. As far as I can tell all the other MAP sizes are correctly tracking the scores.
