I like the idea of having leaders which would provide bonuses to the race which manages to recruit them. This was on another space game I played (cant remember the name but it had 3 playable races on 4 CDs) Each civ could have a quantity of positions depending on the type of Goverment they have. The more liberal the Government the greater number of leaders available. (maybe Qty 1-4). The abilities could be military bonuses for a general, loyalty for charismatic etc. Th

The sensor drone doesnt have any maintenance does it? The lack of maintenance cost may reflect the fact that new technology has overcome fuel and upkeep costs of the vessel.
Got it and every thing works fine, although I never got the chance to use the mystery in anger (3 games now). The only thing I would say is it gives good civs too much power. (I had to mend some of my evil ways). :(
If you are right I will have a beer for you on the 26th. (not Fosters though). :)
Thanks for the help Peace Phoenix. I am looking foward to the 31st now. :) :)
I agree I would like someone to verify it. My latest game lost me 7K, in fact I am losing points every second game. 3K, 5K and now 7k, I would like verification that if this is supposed to occur. Seems more like a bug to me though. :(
Has anyone ever been booted for lack of activity?
The last 5 games I have submitted has caused my score to go above then below 950K alternatively. My guess is this should not happen :notsure:
is it 72 hrs yet :) :)
As it stands now if you have purchased AP, Stardock enables you to download the beta for AP. All you need is your AP registration number. :)
Nothing, besides padding out the tech tree.
I think it is just a tech advance and not an actual wonder.
It's in amongst this post: http://www.galciv.com/forum.asp?id=167139&BID=GF&page=1
There has been a problem with games posted along time ago (331 days I think) were removed for some reason. There has been a few posts about this but I thought the problem was solved.
They used to set of a device that would lower a planets PQ and destroy improvements. Thus the rejoice of the end of the Terrorist threat. I was hoping by befriending them they would do the same to our enemies. :D
Does anyone still get the Calor sabotaging planets? Since I have been playing AP, I get the Calor showing up but they no longer wreak planets. I try allying with them in the hope they will do so but have no success. :(
They are , so all techs require an All. of 60
Damn, i cant overcome my evil tendencies to take advantage of it. Simply must have that +30% PQ, +27% interest etc etc (:(
Black Shade, you're lazy enogh to be a pirate. ;) Working is to hard, plundering is better :HOT:
I am using AP .002 Trying version 1.8 and the folowing SB upgrades wont work: L Space mining, Halutian Trade Complex. The options come up to upgrade them but once you select them the screen disappears with the constructor remaining on top of the starbase. Are the Halutians considered good, as the Thunderbolt disappears when I turn neutral? Are the new techs weighted appropriately for the AI as none of them seem to go for it. The ones that have 3 +10% bonuse
I have an Xbox and not played Halo. It is just a recent purchase though and Halo 2 is out soon..... ;p
PS: Make sure its not an Excalibur :)
Try it. Gift a ship in that sector to an enemy and see if you can attack it. Then post the result.
Lets not forget that a computer can be used for other things such as writing letters, email, editing photos and even work :SURPRISED: etc... A console's purpose is entertainment only (at the moment). Until this changes there will always be a spot for PCs. PCs also have the added advantage of being easily upgradeable, both hardware and software, as required by the user. Consoles are more limited in this regard.
I agree, if it is a choice between resources being allocated between GC1 metaverse and GC2 then it should go to the development of GC2.
