Stu, Maybe you aren't reading the description text when choosing techs to research? Or their exact words when engaging in diplomacy. I know it can be easy to click on a tech without reading its description, just looking at the improvements and future techs. And in diplomacy, as long as the text is green its easy to gloss over what they actually say. But its worth taking the time and effort though, because otherwise you miss a few gems... :HOT:

The 3d interface on "imperium" was a doddle. Yes I once sent ships off to the far corner of the galaxy thinking the star was near by, but I only made that mistake once. The things people are objecting about as far as 3d interfaces go are not really valid in themselves but only as they apply to GalCiv. Another week goes by, another Galaxy conquered. Huge one this time... ...We're still at 18. I think we temporarilly went up to 17 yesterday, even though we didn't submit any games. I think it was because a United Benzoian left. They're back above us now, so I don't know if the errant member rejoined them or whether the others made up some score for them. Either way they're only a little ahead of us...

Okay, I give up for now. I have changed our empire page to the PanGaea 'channel' page. This will show the latest five articles in each 'channel' of the all the blogs that are connected with the PanGaea blog group. This means Kevins background story is now listed.
