The third part of the article already available here... Reading blogs is one thing, and alot of programs allows you to do that with better or worse results. What makes Blog Navigator unique is among other features (like search article monitors, baskets and search blogs) its ability to both read and write blogs. Let's setup Blog Navigator Professional to use an account on JoeUser. There's not

First of all - the regular version may be just enough for most of the users. IT'S FREE (as in Free Beer) It will not expire on you, it will not nag you to buy the Proffessionl version, it is spyware free (no mallicious aps or dll's) it won't show any adds and again... IT'S REALLY FREE. So as you see, we do not force you to buy the enhanced version, but you may want to do it if you need any of the

What layout is that? I have Outlook 2003 setup exactly like BlogNavigator layout. Do you wanrt the browser to be on the right and have a 3 columns from very top to very bottom?

If this blog appears on the stardockblog, it means that the sub-categories work. Pat fixed the subtitle problem so I have my subtitle retrieved ok now. Not sure why I cannot EditPost if the post is in , the server returns error 500 - I may be giving pat something wrong about the categories - looking into that now. One thing we lack is the categories on GetPost. For the moment I can live with that since they appear in GetRecentPosts. Also if thy are subcategories I need a f

Stardock has newsgroups for SkinStudio support and bug reports and you can find a link to it on SkinStudio pages. There is support @stardock.com. You are also welcome to join the #stardock channel on irc.stardock.com. You may talk to me directly (I'm there most of the time as NoonienSoong - or say "Adam" and the real slim shady will stand up) or state the nature of your emergency in the channel and someone there most certainly will help you. Complaining like that here or on various messageboards

Hmm, it looks like at least one of my claims is invalid - Picasa offers something like Preview HQ - which you can set in prefernces - I've captured the preview for both PSA and Picasa and compared them closely (enlarged) in PSE and they seem to be identical now. Way to go Picasa!

I've bought a camera (a nice Minolta Dimage A2) recently and ever since then I've been on a quest for a perfect software for managing the hundreds of photos I now take every week. Photoshop Album is really the closest to perfection I could find so far, but it also is slow. I mean really slow. It also cannot be bought here in Poland. I liked Picasa for its cool interface, though as you can expect it's not available here as well. I've tried the tryout and really enjoyed the interface. It has its d

Yes, the fragility of the HDD is kind of concern, once it's on a CD it's much safer, though I'd expect the recorder to be pretty delicate itself as well. I wouldn't risk doing that at the wedding though, a number of issues could emmerge, from things like: "Where are some of the pictures i have on that CD" to "That's the best shot on the wedding - too bad it's so out of focus". Out of eyes - out of heart T

There are also so called Image Tanks - basically the same but with a hard disk. I am not sure that the CD-R one is better - the CD is only a bit bigger than my current card (512MB) so I cannot dump it more than once without taking a pile of cd's with me as well - it's also most probably considerably bigger than the HDD solution. But the CD sure has advantage if you e.g. want to show your shots to someone on a computer that does not have a card reader and you cannot connect your camera to it in

actually it's doing just that, Set your channels to "Keepsafe automatically" as explained in 8) and it will save the .mht files into its storage folder automatically for every new article. The only difference from what you propose is that the filenames are generated at random since otherwise the pages with the same title coukd not coexist in the storage. I can add the mailing option, sure. I wonder if the mht, should be attached or rather be the body of the mail?

Can you read group of blogs in one list in FeedDemon? And I'm sorry to say that, but actually both of them FeedDeamon and Blong Navigator are based on Outlook (though FeeDemon does not have the tree view), so they're bound to be similar. In the next article you will actually see even more clearly the areas where Blog Navigator is much better than what other readers have to offer.

Blog Navigator is a new tool Stardock is about to release. It's already available as a beta download. The WindowBlinds Visual Style used in the article is b0se's OpusSmooth - soon to be submitted to GuiOlympics 2004. Despite multiple RSS readers being already available out there Blog Navigator allows for a number of features that are unavailabl

Grow up Everett Lee, do you think the owners of companies will actually keep their employment level at the expense of loosing money instead of earning it? Companies are to make money, not to keep the employed comfortable and satisfied. And big companies like McDonals and Microsoft have responsibilities to their shareholders which may as well be some of those poor people. If a CEO of such company will fail to make a profit, he/she will be replaced with someone who can. Besides, not generalizing,

Today I was to go with the UIS1/2 autodetection but I really want to push BlogNavigator out the door so I decided to finish that. I feel that the current version is ready for public release. Brad, I went with single column (with icons) instead of two after all, but changed the used icons a bit. Let me know if the current column layout is ok with you. The joeuser limited version (one of the links below) features a nag screen, though it's pretty clear we need a better image there and I will n
