Ctrl N renews/resets the galaxy. This is not considered a cheat by the way. I'll have a look around see if I can get you the link. But really, I think you should manage without it. there is a lot more stuff in 1.13, but I saw some other people with the french version saying that installing 1.13 would make their game partially english. But since you can read in english, and for what I've seen of the translations, you're better off playing 1.13 in english and getting regular updates.
Thank you, Nastavnik, I Knew you will show up soon
Thanks for that Shalom. i'm amazed by my own reputation ;p . [Message Edited] (there is no doubt in my mind that you are a real Diplomat now ;) ) [Message Edited]
Hi Philippe, welcome to the forum To use cheat codes you must enable them in the menu screen (in game menu, when you hit esc). I think that for menoey it is ctrl + M. (not sure, there is a list somewhere in the forum. I'll switch to french bbecause I type faster... Par contre si tu utilise ces codes il faut faire attention: tu ne pourras pas envoyer tes jeux au metaverse, ou tu auras un qcore the 0. Au début du jeu, il faut coloniser un maximum de planetes, donc il
Go ahead and change it until we put up the next build.
Cari, where should I make that change? Must I wait till my current game is over (I'm afraid that a couple of these 800point ships will take out my whole fleet when made available)? Thks :)
When trading you can get much more money by having long term paiments (for less BCs per month). I noticed that for me, if i select 1 I have two actual paiements (1 immediate, and one the next month). But I haven't checked if it is the same for the AI. I'd think so. For selling you just select the tech or ship you want and then what you want for it (money or techs). About the long paiements thing, if the race you traded with disappears before finishing paying you, you won't get
I'm thinking that 80 is more reasonable.
I agree, otherwise I don't know how to destroy it! If that's the correct figure it makes eyes of the universe very impoirtant: I'll need the early warning in order to send my fleet away asap! LOL One must know when to fold if faced against impossible odds. (specially since there is no fleet bonus for less powerfull ships (:( )
I could hide the submit button after you click on it.
I think it would help :) . I usually click, and as nothing ever changes, after a few seconds I start doubting myself: have I clicked or missed the button by some pixels. But I'm afraid to click again and make something go wrong :notsure: . At least if the buton disappears I know I clicked and just need to do the waiting part before checking the metaverse.
I bought a drengin.net subscription and downloaded galactic civilization and altarian profecy. Wow is REALLY GREAT!!!!!!!
Indeed it is!!! And if all goes as announced, we shouuld soon be getting Political machine, as part of our subscription :D
Since now (in AP I mean)the starbases cost so much, tle logics of diminishing returns is already present: in order to have the same benefits, the starbase costs much more. Therefore diminishing returns. Maybe it's even an easier way to implement it. In any case I've noticed a severe drop in starbase numbers in the galaxy. I think it's a good change. Now I'm waiting for the logistics tech, because I cannot afford to get all the resources I'd want right now...
:sniff!: Thank god I haven't seen it yet! I only play good, so I guess this would mean the endin the hands of the bad guys!
Hmm... do the AIs gotta pay for their starbases? They keep sprinkling them all over the place, instead of focusing on building effective bases. Well, they are Incredible, maybe they really do have vast sums of money to throw away like that
In my last game, (painful/medium) there was considerably less starbases (under galciv 1.13 they were everywhere, once I even saw +/- 20 arcean starbases in one sector). But still, if they paid for it, the 5th or 6th useless one (simpl
I haven't managed to build one myself yet with the new release, but the Drengin and the Korx both have fleets of the things, and they both hate my guts So yeah, I'd say it's fixed.
Good news!... well sort of... you know what I mean ;) ~SDC~
I like it. Now i can't just grab any ressource i like i have to think about whether i need it or not.
I agree ~SDC~
I restarted a game. This time manors are not building anything so far -- maybe because the Yor have many bonuses (they're on incredible) and are grabbing all the other trade goods. But at least i could get diplo translators :) , which usually in a good indicator in my games. I just had a CTD on trying to reload a previous save. I had one before, in the first game, but could not reproduce it so I'll assume it was my fault :) . But since for this one I had smartexception running, I'll b
I have no save games for before the diplo translator was made. The first save I have is a few months after (feb 2180). Don't know it would help. :notsure: ~SDC~

Hello Cari, I just started a new game, it's sept 2179, just a few turns after the start and I have a couple of questions. - do major races already start with a knowledge of where resources are? A few turns after the start of the game, there is already one starbase per race in the galaxy (I didn't check yet if they are on ressources. Just wondering here. - Related to the first point, starbases are still visible, although they are in non explored sectors. It's a good way
Jeffrey Pinard When i told Carielf about this problem, I sent her a savedgame showing it. And guess what? It finished building alright on her computer. Still with the same savedgame I couldn't complete it on my PC. Apparently there was a problem in my files. I installed clean ones. According to her, it should solve the problem. But I could not test it yet since when I installed these files I lost my saves... But I guess it should work. And in that same game i could build the sovereign, so I

Great review Theoden! :CONGRAT: ~SDC~
So we progressively lose our past "good months" (where big increases in the score were made) (:( On a completelly different subject, I have a question: Wraith 717 posted in the bug report thread that "when you have traded for trade goods and that civilaziton gets destroyed you lose those. This used to not happen" I didn't know that! It makes protecting minor civs more important (if you bought the trade goods from them). Can anyone confirm that? And if so, do you
