Working on starting a new empire, called the Viraxian Ascension. The story revolves around a symbiont race that crash landed on a hostile earth, that was just begining space flight. Each member would not be limited, nor harrassed, on what alignment they played. Senate membership would require a pure evil, and a pure good game metaverse submission. Tarth make the best struedel. But they make horrible spies. They try and hide their 6 foot wide frame behind a 2 foot wide tree. They are big, dumb, and...... orange. LOL (Deadlock and Deadlock2) Might be able to find on Amamzon. The locsl store here has a copy of Deadlock 1. Quite a collector's item now. lol. Fantastic game. Deadlock2 MP is buggy though. Would like to buy the rights to that one I tell ya.

not sure if this has been mentioned, but I have been able to consistantly re-create a CTD. If you are fishing for colonization events, and get one you want to keep, you then destroy the colony. here is the order I use to re-create it. Load a colony ship with 1m. Save game Colonize a low PQ planet Choose the best +alingment I can get. (cheezy reloading for the test) Destroy the colony. Save the game. hit end turn, and you get a CTD, usually when you get the news box.

I just look at it like the "transport ship" fleet, is basicly a module (troops, choppers, tanks,ect.) frame with lots of boosters. The modules disembark for planetary descent, and the booster frame goes the way of the Mir. Besides, they are not that expensive to build. I like to send them out in groups of 3-5. That way I can take a whole sector at once. And if I have leftover transports, I use them to balance out the population in the system/sector. Then send out again with another
