He admonished me not to vote for 'that woman' and when I asked why not, his only response was 'she's evil.'
I always love this. Noone can name one "evil" thing she's said or done. I don't know about good accomplishments but I do know Obama managed to deal with a lot of people who were slum lords, communists, racists and down right haters of America and have seemingly convinced a lot of people that he hasn't had anything to do with them in a long time therefo
Please post some pics of some of the neat houses.
If I get to see any, I will. I lot of them around here don't do there houses up until that day so as to surprise people as much as possible. We have a funny dentist in the neighborhood who usually puts up a lot of decorations. I bet he is in full support of all that candy ;)

Alex is rethinking not trick or treating. His friends as well as his dad all advise him not to give it up until he's a teen. Guess I'll be stuck handing out candy again :(

This is from the party that claims to be the protectors of our rights? I guess freedom of speech isn't one of them because we are too stupid to figure things out simply by reading facts from both sides.
What puzzles me is why you don't see them sending the government a personal check now, since they don't feel they are paying enough.
You don't even see them donating to charity very much. Biden averaged a donation of about $350/yr over the past decade. It's fine for him to dictate what's patriotic for us. He was telling the truth about how they intend to TAKE our money though.
You all also act like theres no grey area, everyones on this team or that team. I seriously doubt any person here really believes in everything one or the other part yor ideaology even does.
The same can be said for religion though. How many people claim to be Christians but pick and choose from Christian teachings? They stick unmoving to some parts of the Bible but qualify others. Just because you take issue with whether or not Noah and his Ark ever existed,

I don't usually chime in on this sort of subject but this is one I feel strongly about because I have seen too many families torn apart by lack of communication. I have a husband who is a normal man who has normal urges but is able to communicate about them. I feel satisfied that nothing will ever happen behind my back because I'm certain I would have fair warning and a chance to do something about it.
A man wants to have as much sex as possible with as many women as possible, from a biological perspective
If a man can't control his "wants" he should consider not being in a monogomous relationship. Here are some true "Gentleman's Rules": 1) Don't commit yourself to one woman if you feel the strong desire to "roam free" 2) If you feel you have sexual desires that aren't being met, tell your partner 3) If you feel your partner won't meet your needs
There are no simple truths in politics and no silver bullet for all of our problems, but believing an entire class of Americans to be wholy deluded, wholy misled, or wholy evil is certainly not a path to any solution.
You say this but say that I have "bought into" something. I understand from what you've told me that you were once misguided as I am and now you have been enlightened. If only I would open my mind and educate myself I would see things as you do.
All of those suggestions you listed help with conserving money and energy....hmmmm sounds like a terrible idea.
I'm all for conservation but not forced. If I can afford to pay my heating bills and the price of gas, afford to buy the food I want, then I should be able to consume as I like.
I dont think Obama has done this
He very literally has.
critical analysis as treason, science as heresy, and media as propaganda
I'm sure you have a lot of "facts" to back that up with. Regarding the media, I certainly didn't see anyone foaming at the mouth about the Dems the way Keith Oberman did/does about McCain. The media is so incredibley left biased that I don't understand how any reasonable person could possibly deny it at this point.
this *is* a government *of* the people, and we all have to do our part to make our democracy strong.
One of the biggest issues is what "our part" means and who gets to decide what's "fair". The government is supposed to be working "for" the people. I don't want a "leader" that will dictate to the people what temperature they can set the thermostat to, how we should inflate our tires, what kind of vehicle we can drive and what we can or can't eat.
[citation needed]
I'm no longer interested in this conversation. You're for him, I'm not. Believe what you want and see what you want. I don't see McCain/Palin as more of the same and you probably do. I don't think we're doomed either way as some seem to think. I'm not jazzed about either option.
This stuff is all readily available online.
Yep. And I know how easy it is to get stuff on your wikipedia page.

If Matt Damon is such a brainiac to be trusted on political issues, why doesn't he know more about Palin? Does he not know how to use the internet? I simply googled "Sarah Palin on the issues" and answered the questions he had about her. She isn't completely on the Intelligent Design wagon so she states she believes in some aspects of Evolution (which is a theory and not fact no matter how widely accepted) and that is why she believes in presenting both. Heaven forbid

Sounds good for when they are still little but God help you when you've got two teenaged girls! The thought of just one teen girl scares me enough! The drama is going to be at a max in your house when those hormones start kicking in. Boys get some hormonal issues too but nothing like the girls. I think there are so many great things about big families. You're more likely to have one that cares enough about the family to plan get togethers too. Probably on
