My next laundry room is going to be a complete opposite of this one!
The water didn't damage anything did it?
I guess one blessing of having such a tiny laundry room is that there isn't room to put stuff on the floor so I don't think there is anything damaged except you never know once the water has a chance to seep through to the basement. Four hours after my original call I was finally able to get ahold of the proper person and she was extremely nice and helpful. She was also very apologetic about my previous experience and explai
What has Obama done? What are his qualifications for being CEO of our country? He claims to have worked for the common good in Chicago. Where are examples of things he actually did? Just because he says he knows stuff doesn't mean it's so. As for taking advice from actors, that is just plain foolish. I bet Putin would be more afraid of Palin than Obama and Biden combined. But then again, Damon has pretended to be a special agent butt kicke
This is basically what my washer and drier are like. They are really tall and are really crammed into my little laundry room. I have never liked my laundry room but di
Thanks foreverserenity. They grow so fast! I wake up every day being thankful I am their mommy.
We live near Detroit Metro and Willow Run airports. I think of 9/11 every time I see a plane in the sky (which is pretty constant). Every year I seek out someone else's story of that day. This year I read the air traffic controllers' stories for the first time. It really brought back how shocking and utterly unbelievable the events of that day were. The kids wore red, white and blue to school today and had a moment of silence. I watched and listened to som
It was a pleasure meeting you! Sorry it was brief but as you could see, Ashley keeps me busy.
I wish the picture did him more justice. Glad you got to see our "monster".
Too bad we couldn't have treadmill or bike powered computer...even better, TVs! I bet it would put a major affect on obesity including Jeuvinile. We have friends that lost lots of weight when they moved to NY simply because they walk everywhere now. I'm in the car all the time because things are so spread out out here in the burbs.
Ashley looks like such a big girl!
She's as big or bigger than all the 3yr olds we know. I just got her 2yr old pics taken yesterday. Hopefully I can get one scanned in and post it when I get them back from the photographer. The boys have their school pictures next week. Time really does fly! I can't believe Alex will be 12 at the end of November. He's growing up so fast! He seems to be adjusting well to Middle School and getting up
It does sound like you need a little time out.
I've only gotten half my steps in today! I'm going to have to take a looooong walk or maybe hit the treadmill (boring) tonight.
Do you guys usually carve your pumpkins or paint them?
We always carve our big pumpkins because Brad loves roasted pumpkin seeds. The boys always come up with great faces that give my carving abilities a work out. On occasion we get some of the little bitty pumpkins and paint them.
What are your favorite fall candles, Jill?
Rigth now my fav is an Orange Cinnamon Village Candle I got at Kroger for $7. I just got an Autumn Spice one
My hubby recently bought me and himself pedometers. We have a little competition each day to see who takes the most steps. Apparently we should take at least 10,000 steps
Ashley with her pumpkin last year The cool breezes and turning leaves have me thinking about Halloween. The kids are already talk
My oldest, Alex, is going to his first dance next week! I'm not old enough for him to be going to dances!! Where does the time go?
Thanks Marcie. It is never boring around here.
So far I've totally organized my pantry and most of my kitchen. It doesn't sound like much, but it's pretty major for me. I also went through all of the kids' clothes. The boys' room is still a wreck but I think that is pretty normal. I'm getting better about weeding out the paperwork. I have the boys' school stuff pretty organized also. I'm on my way!

He likes playing catcher except when it's 100+ degrees out. It is really hard for the little guys to move in that gear because it's always too big for them. He doesn't seem to mind having things coming straight at him :)
Brad has his benchmarks of his myriad of computers. So what computer do I get? I thought I'd check it out... His laptop is 5 times

Here's a picture of Ryan (my son) playing catcher.
You know Robin Hood robbed from the rich and gave to the poor, right? Conservatives and McCain supporters around here generally don't like giving to the poor much from what I've read, so are you sure Robin Hood would be a savior?
Robin Hood robbed from the tax collectors and gave to the poor. McCain's tax returns show he has given far more in charitable donations than Obama. And what do you base your statement that conservatives around here don't like givin
Seems to me you are really not all that knowledgable on politics. You simply repeat the same spin that the politicians of one party put on another. To truly understand politics is to understand both sides of the issues because they affect people in different ways. Take a good look then you might notice there are both liberal and conservative elitist, both liberal and conservatives who demean others that have opposing views, intelligent people in both camps and dumb-asses on both sides
