I just started diving into it with my girlfriend (it has Coop and I have heard good things thats why I was drawn to it) so I can't really form an opinion on it yet since I am maybe an 30mins in.
RTS: Warcraft 3: TFT Only TBS I am playing right now is Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on GC and I just wrapped up Advance Wars: Dual Strike on Nintendo DS. Probably will get back into GalCivII though.
Again I will deviate on my gameplaying updates from days gone by, only this time its to cover a game I just wrapped up. Being that I can carry and play my DS almost everywhere I tend to get most of my gaming in via that machine, which has the best feature for handheld gaming since the introduction of the Backlight screen (with good battery life) some years ago. Of c
Please note the time that this was posted, that was by accident, I swear...

Yes the price difference has been making me choose a little more carefully. Wii games for $50 are also nice, but of course you don't get the 720p option...or internet play at the moment but there really haven't been many cross-platform titles that hit Wii that were worth it yet. So hasn't really come up...

Battle for Wesnoth is a good game. free to. My boss has been addicted to that for the past few months. That lil piece of freeware has eaten up a ton of his time and it has some insane depth. Looks like its from the good ole SNES days but plays like a dream. Very well done. Speaking of SNES there are TONS of TBS for GBA (including many SNES remakes) or Nintendo DS if you or your kids have one. For s
I'm a fan of it, it does an excellent job of scratching the Diablo 2 itch. It's getting harder and harder to find a primarily SP, non-persistant world game that does that. I really couldn't agree more with your whole statement. Solid single player or coop titles that aren't persistent are getting hardier and hardier to come by on the PC. Another thing I would have liked TQ to have is some sort of cra
I'm not huge on scoring although I try and do something for those people who love numbers: "I would call this one out at about 80% if you want to use that kind of scale which is disappointing cause if THQ had given them more time to polish it could have been great." TQ looks great on my Athlon 64 with Geforce 7800 The single player is good the first time through the campaign, follows a lot of ancient mythology and stuff.
Blizzard has come out to speak on the BlizzCon versus QuakeCon issue that was created last week upon their announcement of the conventions dates. FiringSquad received a reply from a Blizzard spokesperson stating: I wanted to get back to you and let you know that we had actually booked the venue for BlizzCon last year, and at that time no other related events had been announced. When planning la
Creators of Supreme Commander Gas Powered Games have announced via a job posting that there is more in store for the title, indicating that it is becoming a franchise. Valve's PR junkie and director of marketing Doug Lombardi has come forward to speak on the recent reports of a hacker named 'MaddoxX' who claims to have gained access to some of Valve's customer information. But adds that "The alleged hacker gained access to a third-party site that Valve uses to manage the commercial partners in its Cyber Café program. This Cyber Café billing system is not
Another PhysX-powered game has made recent news today with Eidos' dating the third-person shooter Infernal for a May 8 launch. Infernal places players at the right-hand of the devil, complete with the powers only that kind of position can wield. Developer Metropolis Software then leaves it to the player to decide where they stand, with heaven or with hell.
I figured that since I posted what I was currently playing a few weeks ago I should probably take a break from my long delayed and still in the works Gameplay updates and actually get into what I am currently tackling on the PC. First and foremost I tend to be a little addictive when it comes to PC games. Although I play a good amo
The Zombie based Possession from Blitz Games has been halted on all platforms. The title from Blitz's mature themed developer, Volatile Games, was to be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox360 and was going to feature an interesting twist on the common zombie story. Instead of fighting off hordes of brain munching maniacs the players would be placed in the opposite role, that as one of the 'Enslavers' who had the task of spreading the infection to all of humanity. Blitz's PR departm
