Aspyr Media has announced plans to bring Activision's newest Tony Hawk game, Tony Hawk American Wasteland , to the PC this December. The latest Tony Hawk places players in Los Angeles with the ability to skate or bike through the rich, no load time world. Gamestop has announced that there will indeed be some overlapping to their upcoming merger with Electronics Boutique which was announced back in April. GameStop Corp. confirmed yesterday that they will close Electronics Boutique's greater Philadelphia distribution center, causing 576 full-time pink slips and 159 seasonal/temporary pink slips. Devin Moore, the 20 year old convicted for killing three Alabama policemen, received his sentence late last week. After freeing himself from custody after stealing a car, Moore managed to grab one officer's gun and proceeded to fatally shoot the three officers which he claimed he was inspired to do because of Grand Theft Auto III. Shareholders have approved the GameStop and Electronics Boutique merger, creating the largest games retailer in North America. The new company will operate under the GameStop Corp. name and will control roughly 25 percent of the market, beating out rival giant Wal-mart by a few points. Activision has counter-sued Call of Duty: Finest Hour developer Spark Unlimited, adding a few more accusations to the mix.
