Didn't see anything in the patch about this...

When's the next update due to be posted on Stardock for Altarian Prohpecy? And once again, sorry about the triple posting up above. My connection was in limbo, and I didn't realize each time they'd actually "taken".
Cari, It is totally random when it happens - somewhat rare. But when it does happen, it's always late game.

Cari, I have Nero and the Intervideo X-Pack for WMP. Also, is there a way to win with the current build of the game? [Message Edited]
Also, the victory conditions DO NOT WORK. And saving a game is unusually problematic (dating from the orginal GalCiv). Sometimes when you type in name hit enter it doesn't save. I can't tell you the number of times I'd thought I'd saved but did not. Please change the way this is done so you click a button and pop-up box presents you with the option to "name", and then hitting "enter" or "OK" saves the file. Thank you! :) [Message Edited]
Cari - the slowdown happens randomly during a ship battle. Yes I have all the latest drivers/updates etc. The problem I mentioned with the trade embargo READ CAREFULLY: I had a trade embargo against the Altarians. I then went and formed an alliance many years later. Some years later I realized I'd forgotten to LIFT the trade embargo before forming the alliance. SO the only way I could break the trade embargo, was to dissolve the allaince first since that button wa
1. If you have a trade embargo against the AI, then create an alliance with them --- the "break alliance" button covers the "trade embargo" button. Therefore I cannot modify trade embargo options when in an alliance. 2. Paladin will not get created. It simply remains at "1 month left". 3. No music playing for the new races when in diplomacy screen. Please make the new race music as good as Drengins!! 4. Somtimes the game slows down to 1 animation per 5 seconds. If
Just wanted to say I love the Drengin's music in the negotians menu. I hope the new races in Altarian Proephcy have some of the great ambiance the Drengins do :)
TEASE TEASE Wow, there is so much we'll be able to do with this game :D
...hoping one of these days to see the beta for Poliotical Machine, and updated beta for GalCiv. Can't wait!! :) [Message Edited]
I had a massive hard drive crash :( and need to reinstalll all my software. To that end, should I reinstall Galciv from my CD or from Stardock Central? To that end, can I do it all from SC, and if so, woudl I be missing anything (movies etc)? I've had problems installing GalCiv from my CD.
OK, thanks for answering Imaginos. I'd read the info, but thought maybe I was misunderstanding it.
First I'm wondering if the cirrent AP beat has some new ships/races/tech in it already? Also, I can't tell if when I launch from the AP launch screen if I'm in the new AP exectuable or not since I don't see a version number. Thanks for the help and info!
www.gonegold.com which may not seem like a large site, actually is huge with the amout of regular unique hits per month (6 & 7 digit). The latest article is a "the best/worst of 2003" in pc-gaming, and Stardock is a good highlight. Read and enjoy (Stardock reference is 2/3 down the article) http://www.gonegold.com/nightcall/2003/12/31.shtml#link Great joh Stardock! Much luck to you for a blessed new Year! [Message Edited]

Each time I install the beta, is still shows up as an install option. Anyone else notice this? ~SDC~
Woohoo! Looking forward to it! Is it ready yet?! Is it ready yet??! Is it ready yet???! [Message Edited]
No text, just excited whith what's being developed here :)
I like it all! Sweet!
So Frogboy, you guys (and gals) going to make that new pay-for expansion pack? I sure hope so!!
I think this: "Here's the controveral ones: Starbases now must be greater than 3 parsecs (spaces) away from one another for navigational reasons with the exception of starbases on resources (you can build a starbase on a resource at all times)." is an EXCELLENT move. Thank you for the update and I really like what you're doing with this update, however you should not decrease the AI difficulty.
From your poll, you're thinking abot it, and all I can say is please do it! I'm a drengin.net paying member, but I'd still love to pay an extra amount for the expansion on top of that. I really hope you go forward with the decision to make that expansion pack!
What would R2D2 do in your position?
5,000? Most people that come here or play Gal Civ never look at the poll - many don't bother to answer polls. That's not fair!
